"I have made the largest part of my scientific career outside my country. It wasn't until I got the opportunity to be a mentor for Symbiotic STEM that I found that many young students are in the same situation way earlier than I was and yet, that they are extremely enthusiastic to pursue a career in STEM. Finding that, was extremely inspiring. My favorite events were those hold in Spanish, my mother tongue, because I was able to connect better with the students without any language barrier."
