Certificates provide proof of your hard work towards making STEM more inclusive and welcoming.  Learn more about certificate types and how to get yours below.

HOW IT WORKS

  1. After participating in a mentoring event (group or one-on-one), self-report the hours spent on the activity through this form

  2. When you are ready, send an email to Nibras to request a mentoring certificate.

  3. We will make a certificate along with a personalized letter explaining our program and your contribution to it.

FAQ

What is a certificate used for?

Certificates can demonstrate your contribution to our program by providing a formal explanation of our organization and your contribution to it. You may want to request a certificate if you include our program in a CV or resume to provide additional context to the reader about our program and your involvement.

What comes with a certificate?

Your certificate will outline the number of hours you worked in our program and the length of time you participated (for a term, a year, etc). It will also outline how many events you participated in/how many mentees you met with.

How many hours should I mentor before requesting a certificate?

There is no minimum requirement. You can request certificates at any time.
